Finance Manager
Job Location : UAE
Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the finance department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards.
• Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts on a regular basis, providing analysis and insights to senior management to support decision-making.
• Monitor cash flow, budget variances, and financial performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Coordinate and oversee the annual audit process, liaising with auditors and ensuring timely completion of audits.
• Manage relationships with financial institutions, including banks and lenders, to optimize banking services and secure financing as needed.
• Provide strategic financial advice and support to senior management, contributing to the development and execution of business strategies.
• Stay updated on relevant financial regulations and industry trends, ensuring compliance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Lead and mentor finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Job Details :
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in finance and accounting or a similar role in the Travel and Tourism industry.
• Extensive knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
• Proven leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of motivating and developing high-performing teams.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office suite; experience with ERP systems preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
