KAZARGROUP Hiring for Finance Assistant Job at Dubai Full Time

The role of the Finance Assistant is to generally assist the Financial Control and FP&A departments. You will be working alongside one other Finance Assistant, and reporting into the Finance Manager and/or the Financial Controller.

The role will initially include (but is not limited to) the following areas of responsibility dependent on skills and experience, however will likely evolve and change as the department grows.

This role is an opportunity to get to know and see the various elements of a finance department, and use it as a jumping off point to a finance career.

Responsibilities

• Purchase Ledger
  • Management of AP inbox for EMEA, NORAM and APAC
  • Obtaining approval in line with policy
  • Processing of purchase ledger invoices
  • Preparation of payment runs
  • Supervising the use of Expensify by all Employees. Checking receipts and coding.
  • Reconciliation of credit card statements to the transactions posted via Expensify.
  • Assist with Payroll administration
  • Reconciliation of control accounts re Adtech spend.
  • Assist with Bank Reconciliation of payments
• Sales Ledger – where required
  • Assist with processing of Salesforce notifications
  • Assist with billing queries
• Credit Control – where required
  • Assist with bank reconciliation of receipts.
  • Assist with administration of payment providers
• Assisting the Group Financial Controller with month-end reporting tasks and ad-hoc analysis as required
• Customer Metrics and KPIs
  • Supporting the refresh of monthly KPI reports
  • Reviewing sales reps monthly commissions
• Supporting FP&A activities with monthly and ad-hoc reports and analysis as required

Requirements:

• Good Excel and analytical skills
• Strong communications skills and a team player
• Capable of operating in a rapid environment and able to work under pressure
• Ability to resolve queries and problem solve

Nice to have:

• Part qualified / studying ACCA/CIMA or AAT
• Xero or similar accounting system
• Business or Finance related degree
