Responsible for general business operation management and decision making of the company including engineering, production, quality and maintenance.
Plans, organizes, leads, controls and monitors day to day operations of the plant by designing and implementing the necessary structure, processes, and organizational dynamics.
Overall Purpose of the Role:
Interact and align interests with all the company’s stakeholders to assure that the business operation runs efficiently.
Lead all the technical – technological requirements and represent the company in any required forum.

Key Responsibilities:1. GENERAL AND TASK MANAGEMENT
– Execute the Mission, Vision and Direction set by the Board of Directors.
– Ensure that staffing and competency levels are achieved in all areas of the factory.
– Set strategy & implement business plans and procedures in line with the Vision and Mission of the company.
– Develop strategy to build and maintain the brand image, product mix, growth and sustainability of the Company.
– Develop and recommend operations annual budget for Board approval and achieve the budget targets.
– Set up the Quality Management protocols for the products and mechanisms to meet the highest standards.
– Meet the market demand efficiently by optimizing production schedules, for all operations departments.
– Set comprehensive goals for performance, growth and design and align policies and procedures accordingly.
– Champion innovation, problem solving, continuous improvement and process development in the factory.
– Work in collaboration with all the necessary areas to develop new products for markets.
– Manage relationships with partners/vendors to meet marketing strategies and demands to ensure delivery as per optimum production timelines.
– Prepare and execute strategy for plant ramp up including manufacturing, training and maintenance.
– Write and submit reports to the BOD in all matters of importance.
– All and other duties assigned by BOD to support the translation of Karwa motors mission and vision.
2. PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
· Build the necessary environment to empower Karwa Motors staff to achieve the expected objectives.
· Supervise and control resources efficiently to support customer delivery requirements and Lean Manufacturing principles.
· Deal with personnel issues in line with Company Policy and Agreements
· Responsible for training, guiding and coaching operational managers and supervisors.
· Monitor the completion of expected deliverables and ensure good performance.
· Consistently promote high standards through personal example and roll out through the team.
· Ensure KPIs are met by adhering to the plan, including management and reporting.
· Provide support and input to continuous improvement activities within the team
3. RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance
· Work collaboratively, negotiate and engage with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery and compliance with the company strategy
· Stay current and up to date on any technology changes that may affect engineering design and development.
· Search and/or define new business initiatives and projects to achieve greater sustainability of the company.
· Liaise and communicate with other departments, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders.
· Develop technical relationships with key suppliers and business partners.
4. SELF-MANAGEMENT
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance
· Work collaboratively, negotiate and engage with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery and compliance with the company strategy
· Communicate with stakeholders the impact of market change and potential effects on business model. Recommend solutions without compromising quality or service while optimizing cost.
· Stay current and up to date on any technology changes that may affect company development and advise others of any impact.

Qualifications and Experience Levels:
· Engineering degree is required
· Masters in Business Administration (MBA) recommended
· Extra certificates in Engineering, Production, Quality or Supply Chain recommended.
· 8-10 years of experience in management levels in industrial companies (automotive preferable)
· Considerable experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably automotive and heavy commercial vehicles (HVC), such as trucks and buses
· Experience in managing multicultural teams.
· Experience within the MENA region will be preferred.
