An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Membership Coordinator to join the Sports & Leisure team at Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel & Spa, Kuwait.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Enter all members’ data in the system immediately and accurately
Update the members’ profiles in the system with any changes of status
Handle membership enquiries from outside and other departments of the Hotel
Spearhead and be actively involved in the membership retention program
Prepare renewal letters for members and ensure to send them promptly
Follow up on all renewal membership to maintain the number of current members
Prepare and invoice for members when required
Ensure the membership pack is given to new and renewed members
Ensure membership information at the reception are all up to date
Keep member files up to date and ensure confidentiality of each
Monitor if members are satisfied to facilities and services in the club
Participate in any schedules, training and development programs
Provide friendly, courteous and professional service at all times
Ensure that relationships with colleagues are good, maximizing team spirit and cooperation for the good of the Department and the Hotel
Check all incoming mails and make the necessary follow up with relevant department / person in the Hotel
Have a thorough knowledge of services and products of the Hotel
Prepare membership cards for the new members
Dealing with members concerns and service recovery as required
Update all the team about the membership targets and current status on a regular basis in the briefings
Upsell the fitness classes and activities About you:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications.
Minimum 2 years of experience working in a similar role
Fluent in English at business level in verbal and written communication. Arabic language is an advantage
Excellent computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Good organizational and administrative skills
