What is Expert Databases & Reporting?

Expert Database & Reporting is a data-oriented role that would be requiring you to be looking after ETL, reporting, and dashboards. This role requires having good knowledge of SQL as you will be developing new reports, dashboards, and catering ad-hoc requests using MSBI stack (T-SQL/SSIS/SSAS/SSRS).

The role reports directly to the Lead Development and Reporting

What does Expert Databases & Reporting do?

• Develop, manage and test SSIS ETL processes.
• Data Integration and data Transfer, as well as optimization and improving data structures.
• Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance.
• Collaborates with business stakeholders to assess needs, requests and provide technical expertise in development and implementation of dashboards, ad-hoc/scheduled reports.
• Ensure the operations and quality of database systems and servers.

Requirements

What are we looking for and what does it require to be Expert Databases & Reporting?

• Education: BCS/BIT (From a recognized university).
• 3 to 5 years of experience in reports/dashboard development and management of database and ETL processes using MSBI technology Stack i.e. SQL Server 2008 R2/2016, SSIS, SSRS.
• Experience in end to end implementation of BI projects.
• Experience in dashboard development i.e. Tableau (not mandatory but would be a plus)
• Should be customer oriented and self-driven.
• Should possess excellent communication skills and good in stakeholder management.
• Should be result oriented, independent and flexible.
