Due to a forecasted increase in a portfolio of projects, we are seeking a Transport Planning Lead – Saudi National, to be an integral part of the transport planning growth strategy in Riyadh, Saudi. We strive for individuals who can make a difference to the way we do things, who can provide inspirational leadership and drive business development and operational excellence. As Transport Planning Lead, you will be able to develop and grow the transport Planning business in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
You will be a technical and project lead for transport planning, as well as providing technical guidance for transport planning advice on large strategic consulting and design projects. Through regular industry participation, you will assist in developing existing and building strong relationships and build a strong external reputation in your area of expertise. You will lead bids for transport planning work and assist with bids for large strategic consulting and design projects as part of this you will often work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
The role will be responsible for project delivery and project management, and for positioning and winning projects involving a range of services. The role will be instrumental in collaborating with commercial, project management and technical leaders to create opportunities for Jacobs to plan, develop, deliver and operate a range of projects.
This role will give you the opportunity to lead on ongoing projects with a series of Saudi clients, as well as supporting and liaising with other Middle East Transport Planning projects and teams.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
As a successful candidate you will be degree qualified in a transport planning or an engineering related discipline. You will have significant experience working on multidisciplinary transport projects of high complexity and a working knowledge of the local environment, relevant industry, particularly working in Saudi Arabia. You will be experienced in client facing with good communication, marketing, sales and leadership skills.
