We a Tech firm building up a new FinTech startup in the Micro-Investment domain

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Technical Co-Founder at International Business Platform located in Muscat, with flexibility for some remote work. The Technical Co-Founder will be responsible for tasks related to technology development, system architecture, and technical decision-making. He or She will collaborate with the team to drive innovation and lead the technical aspects of the company.

The ideal candidate can be a resident in counrty within MENA region, with more preference from UAE, KSA, Qatar or is willing to locate. Candidates from other Asian countries are also welcomed espacially from India, Indonesia, Turkey and Singapore. Other candidate are also welcomed as long thier country is considered promising in FinTech Industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the full lifecycle of app development, ensuring it meets the highest standards of quality, security, and user experience.
• Drive innovation by identifying and implementing new technologies to enhance app functionality.
• Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing technical team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
• Collaborate closely with co-founders and stakeholders to align the technical strategy with the company’s vision and goals.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and best practices in the fintech industry.
• Make key decisions on technology stack, architecture, and platform infrastructure.
• Ensure the highest standards of security, performance, and scalability.
• Co-lead the company, helping shape its vision, strategy, and growth.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in project management within the fintech industry.
• Strong background in app development, with a focus on financial technology, micro-investment, or related areas.
• Proven experience as a CTO, Lead Developer, or similar leadership role in building and scaling digital platforms, ideally in the Fintech, marketplace, e-commerce, or SaaS domains.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and solving complex problems.
• Innovative and proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities, with experience in team development.
• Proficiency in English is strongly encouraged to facilitate effective communication and operation within the market.
• Familiarity with the MENA market is a plus.
• Experience in financial management, micro-investment, or investment technology is highly valued.
