Intercargo Logistics (SMC-Private) Limited Hiring for Freight Coordinator Air & Sea Job at Islamabad Full Time

Intercargo Logistics SMC-PVT Limited is a freight forwarding company which is offering one point solution to customers across the four continents of world. We for now are looking to fill in the position of Freight Coordinator for our branch office based in Islamabad, Pakistan.

Job Description:

1. To handle the full array of goods booking job in CargoWise system as per the rules pronounced by IATA in conjunction with BIFFA guidelines;

2. Drafting and finalizing the HAWBs and the final copies of Airway Bills and the Bills of Ladings for the shipments booked through Intercargo Logistics;

3. Filing of imports customs clearance declaration in Cargowise system by following the rules framed by HMRC UK;

4. Filing of exports customs clearance declaration and T1 in Cargowise system based on the HMRC/NTC UK post Brexit regulations;

5. Chasing the booking and tracking of all the inbound and outgoing air and sea shipments through active coordination with shipping and airlines;

6. Arranging the pre-alerts and seeking in-time collection of documents from different clients based on the nature of booked service;

7. Maintaining active coordination with clients over the phone calls, emails and Zendesk based ticketing system;

8. Handling the billing task as per the provided schedule of charges against the different provided services;

9. Maintaining and annexing the complete documentation record on case to case basis within and outside the provided system;

10. And arranging for the delivery and collection of goods through maintenance of active coordination with the haulers.

Job Requirements;

1. The ideal candidate for this position comes with good understanding and hands on experience of dealing with freight forwarding tasks;

2. He/She should be completely familiar with the Incoterms, their use and the procedures linked to same for handling of different shipments;

3. The candidate should come with the basic industrial knowledge on how to handle the shipment in different modes of transportation including air, sea and road transportation;

4. The candidates should be having exposure to industrial knowledge in handling of both LCL and FCL shipments;

5. Strong communication skills with command over British English is highly desired with proficiency in outlook-based email coordination;
