Senior Business Analyst- Automation, KYC & Fraud

Responsibilities:

• Utilize strong analytical skills, process engineering, and data analytics to drive project success.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with milestones and deliverables.
• Conduct stakeholder analysis and devise management plans for effective communication and engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
• Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to minimize project risks.
• Manage stakeholders effectively, including ExCo level in Compliance, Legal, Business/Technology, and Squad Leads.
• Employ a structured approach to solution analysis, tracking actions, and managing dependencies across stakeholders.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Agile Ways of Working, Atlassian Jira, and writing user stories.
• Understanding of integration with 3rd party APIs, particularly credit scoring systems.
• Familiarity with onboarding processes such as identity verification, KYC, screening, and credit eligibility.
• Experience with collaboration tools like Atlassian Confluence, MS SharePoint, and MS Teams for team communication and collaboration.

Qualifications:

• Industry-aligned certifications such as ACAMS or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM); master’s level preferred.

KPIs:

• Fraud Detection and Prevention.
• Accuracy of Fraud Analysis.
• Reduction in Losses.
• Timeliness of Fraud Prevention.
• Customer Satisfaction.

Knowledge & Experience:

• 8-10 years of experience in the full customer lifecycle.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, analysis, and structuring.
• Experience in implementing consumer banking products end-to-end.
• Understanding of key regulatory requirements of Risk and Fraud from the UAE Central Bank.
• Knowledge of core systems in the banking landscape, with a focus on analyzing API performance and capabilities.
• Minimum 5 years of product management experience, preferably in the UAE market.
