▪ Minimum five to eight years sales experience in the construction industry, preferably tile
and stone related.

Overview:
As an Area Sales Manager [ASM] , you will be entrusted with leading and coordinating sales efforts
within a specific geographical area, focusing on engaging with construction projects, architects, and
consultants. Your key responsibility will be to drive project sales revenue, secure product
specifications, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
The following key accountabilities ensure the critical success of this position:
1. Identifying Sales Opportunities: Proactively identify potential sales opportunities within the
construction project market, including new developments, renovations, and infrastructure
projects.
2. Project Mapping and Prioritization: Conduct thorough research and analysis to map out
projects within the assigned territory, prioritize based on potential revenue, and develop a
strategic approach for engagement.
3. Engaging with Architects and Consultants: Build and maintain relationships with architects,
consultants, contractors, and other key decision-makers involved in construction projects to
understand their needs and influence product specifications.
4. Product Specification and Consultation: Educate architects, consultants, and project
stakeholders about the features, benefits, and applications of our products, and ensure our
products are specified in project plans and specifications.
5. Project Visits and Presentations: Conduct site visits to construction projects, deliver product
presentations, and participate in project meetings to promote our products, address
technical inquiries, and provide solutions tailored to project requirements.
6. Proposal Development and Quoting: Prepare and submit proposals, quotations, and bids in
response to project specifications, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and alignment with
customer needs.
7. Negotiation and Closing Deals: Negotiate terms and conditions, pricing, and contracts with
customers to secure sales agreements and close deals in line with company policies and
objectives
8. Pipeline Management and Reporting: Maintain a comprehensive sales pipeline, track
progress of opportunities, update sales forecasts, and provide regular reports to
management on sales activities, achievements, and challenges.
9. Customer Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with
customers, providing ongoing support, addressing inquiries and concerns, and ensuring high
levels of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process and beyond.
10. Market Intelligence and Feedback: Stay informed about industry trends, market
developments, competitor activities, and customer feedback, and provide insights and
recommendations to management to support strategic decision-making and business
growth.
11. Collaboration and Teamwork: Work collaboratively with internal teams, including
marketing, customer service, and product development, to align sales efforts with overall
business objectives and ensure a seamless customer experience.
12. Continuous Learning and Development: Stay updated on product knowledge, sales
techniques, industry best practices, and relevant regulations through training programs,
seminars, and self-directed learning to enhance sales effectiveness and professional growth.

Job Specifications/Skills:
1. Proficiency in multiple languages (Arabic, English).
2. Valid drivers licence [LMV]

Minimum Educational Requirements:
▪ Four-year college degree or similar work experience required. MBA preferred.
▪ Minimum five to eight years sales experience in the construction industry, preferably tile
and stone related.
▪ At least three to five years of sales supervisory experience
▪ Solid knowledge of construction methods and standards advantageous.
Travel:
High travel component (80%)
