Showroom Manager’s role is to run the Al Rai showroom successfully. Working in a showroom, he/she is in responsible for both the customers and staff. He/she will be responsible for monitoring staff performance, customer service, as well as monitoring the financial performance of the Showroom.
The Showroom Manager will also be responsible for overseeing all managerial functions including hiring and training staff, ordering stock, supervising and creating systems and schedules for deliveries and consultation visits, and responding to customer queries. He/She is expected to have sufficient knowledge of horticulture, excellent managerial and customer service skills. Ultimately, a top-class Showroom Manger should be able to ensure the success of the business through improving sales, achieving targets, and maintaining an excellent overall experience for customers and staff alike.
Responsibilities for Nursery Showroom Manager Showroom Management:
1. Managing Weekly Indoor plants order from the farm: monitoring the quality of all plans and materials.
2. Responsible all nursery merchandise, ensuring items are displayed and categorized in their designated areas.
3. Responsible for preparing/supervising all documents (i.e. quotations, contracts, deals, etc) with/for showroom customers.
4. Managing daily transactions: all sales credits & cash of Nursery.
5. Overseeing pricing and stock control
6. Maximizing profitability and setting/meeting sales targets, including motivating staff to do so.
7. Working on developing the business through knowing the market and its needs.
8. Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation
9. Preparing promotional materials and displays
10. Monitoring weather conditions and paying special attention to hot or cold temperatures and their effect on plant and equipment.
11. supervising and creating systems and schedules for deliveries and consultation visits. Staff Management
12. Managing, supervising, and directing nursery or greenhouse staff (salesmen, workers, and engineers) to ensure their performance meets the expected standard whether it was for customer-related tasks or for the showroom as a whole.
