Technical Sales Consultant III
Under broad direction, pursues and acquires sales of the Company’s products and equipment to third-party customers on a global basis. Works with Proposals Group to create bid packages. Works with Energy Services Group (ESG) country Business Development personnel to identify markets and potential direct sales opportunities. Establishes key customer clients, building and maintaining lasting business relationships in support of the global Direct Sales business. Maximizes the profitability of the client and Halliburton through matching our technical and operational capability to meet the client’s need. Liaises with Direct Sales Manager for pricing proposals. Initiates and reviews customer proposals with Proposal Specialists. Provides first interface for technology transfer to the customer and communicates multi-PSL technical information. Makes customer presentations. Job role contributes directly to value creation via personal contributions. Skills typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree in engineering or similar discipline and 8-10 years of equipment design and manufactuirng or operations experience which includes experience in sales/marketing. This position is considered the technical sales specialist for Direct Sales in the application of product, equipment and solutions for an assigned PSL.
