In Bahrain’s Al Hamala district, Gyuto restaurant presents innovative Japanese dining. The menu is a mix of elevated classics and Gyuto creations, perfect for special occasions and culinary exploration. We are looking for an experienced General Manager who is ready to join our team.

Responsibilities:

· Setting up/preparation, implementation and management of operating goals, objectives and procedures

· Assessment of staffing requirements and engagement in recruitment process

· Train and coach staff

· Manage staff performance in accordance with established standards and procedures

· Monitor and ensure staff adherence to established codes of practices and procedures

· Organize and monitor staff schedules

· Maintain employee and other administrative records

· Co-ordinate restaurant operations during each shift

· Interact with customers

· Advise customers on food and beverage choices

· Oversee preparation of food and beverage items

· Ensure adherence to set recipes

· Ensure high quality standards and presentation of all food and beverage being offered

· Observe size of food portions and preparation quantities to minimize waste

· Interact with customers to ensure all inquiries and complaints are handled promptly

· Ensure cash management procedures are completed accurately

· Set, monitor and analyze budget variances and take corrective actions

· Establish and implement financial controls

· Plan and monitor restaurant sales and revenue

· Identify and evaluate competitors

· Keep current with trends in the restaurant industry

Requirements:

· Degree in business management or a master’s in business administration

· Good knowledge of different business functions
