Responsible for planning and directing. and controlling the Finance & Accounting activities of the Company (all business locations).
Responsible for the development, implementation and periodic review of financial policies and procedures for the Company.
Manage the Finance Department by planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating the operations of the function.
Ensure development and continual review of Finance Department strategies, policies, and operating procedures, to ensure proper alignment with the organization’s rules and regulations.
Ensure maker checker principle, segregations of duties and internal controls are established and monitored for the finance activities at all the business locations.
Responsible for developing financial strategies by forecasting capital, identifying monetary resources, and developing action plans.
Summarize financial transactions to prepare reliable and accurate monthly and annual financial statements which reflect the Company’s financial position and performance during the period.
Responsible for the preparation of annual budgets and cash flow projections after discussion with all the departments, review of actual vs. budgeted reports and provide recommendations for expenditure control in case of significant variances.
Review the budget and discuss it with the concerned stakeholders and makes necessary changes before forwarding the same to Owner / Directors for review and approval.
Review and analyze monthly management accounts, periodic financial accounts, and balance sheets.
Prepare consolidate and location wise MIS reports on monthly and report to Owner / Directors.
Provide detailed presentation / summaries of the business performance along with the monthly MIS reports.
Responsible for filing of legal documentation (e.g. taxation etc.) of the Company and maintenance of the statutory registers.
Negotiate, prepare, and recommend third-party contracts for owners approval.
Responsible to ensure that adequate accounting system access is provided to the relevant staff within the organization and on exit of respective staff his / her access to accounting system is restricted.
Responsible to maintain on financial records physical and electronic are adequately maintained and retained.
Responsible to ensure that all the accounting and business records are secured from the resigned staff or staff serving the notice period.
Responsible to ensure that daily cash receipts / cash payments / cash deposits into the bank is reconciled and reports are obtained and signed off by the Finance Manager.
Qualification:
Must be ACCA OR CA qualified.
Must have 7+years of work experience as handling finance department.
