We are looking to speak with M&A Managers and Senior Managers to join a telecoms business based in Muscat Oman.
The M&A specialist will primarily support development and execution of Corporate M&A and delivering projects for the organisation.
You will be responsible for:
1. M&A and Delivering Projects Management
* Work closely with the corporate leadership team to support a wide range of strategic initiatives such as acquisitions, joint ventures, greenfield developments, and disposals
* Providing recommendation and analysis to GM, CSIO, Senior Management, and Board of Directors
* Responsible for day-to-day M&A project management and coordination including due diligence, valuations, and internal communication
* Provide support for critical deal processes – primarily legal due diligence, negotiations and structuring
2. Business Development
* Assist in development and implementation of Group business development strategy and projects
* Identify material business and partnership opportunities for new ventures, joint ventures, and strategic alliances
* Manage end to end business development process including idea generation, project structuring, contracts and partnerships, feasibility studies and execution
3. Analysis & Reporting
* Develop and maintain risk analysis of deals arising from due diligence, structuring, advise and support on negotiation and mitigation methods.
* Provide expert inputs on post merger integration planning in an integrated manner linking macro strategy, due diligence, deal structure, governing laws and deal terms.
* Build and advise on deal impact analysis including P&L, cash flow, credit rating impact etc.
Requirements
* 7-8 years experience in mergers and acquisitions
* Excellent skills to business, industry, macro-economics and mega trends analysis
* Extensive experience in legal due diligence, deal document negotiations
* Good understanding of accounting, corporate finance theory and valuation methods
* Integrity, reliability and ability to manage multiple projects and time sensitive priorities
* Being able to work and communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
* Strong interpersonal skills to maintain good and professional relations within and outside the organisation
* Thorough knowledge of project management concepts and applications
* End to end knowledge of M&A transactions, new venture development, business feasibility development
* A solid desire, capability, and commitment to continued professional development and learning
