Position Summary:

Teleconsultation Doctor will be responsible for providing virtual medical consultations, guiding patients through safe and effective treatment plans, and issuing prescriptions where appropriate. This role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and confidence in using telemedicine platforms

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct real-time video consultations with patients, providing accurate medical assessments and diagnoses based on reported symptoms and medical history.
• Develop personalized and evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs and clinical best practices.
• Prescribe appropriate medications in accordance with regulatory guidelines and ensure patients understand dosage, usage, and potential side effects.
• Educate patients on preventive care, lifestyle modifications, and follow-up care when needed.
• Maintain clear, accurate, and confidential digital records of all consultations using the designated electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Address patient concerns, answer follow-up queries, and guide them through their care journey effectively and empathetically.
• Refer patients to in-person specialists or emergency services when necessary, ensuring continuity of care.
• Stay updated on medical guidelines, telehealth practices, and digital consultation protocols.
• Collaborate with the broader healthcare team when multi-disciplinary input is required for comprehensive care.

Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:

• Valid PMDC (Pakistan Medical & Dental Council) license to practice medicine.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or outpatient setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Urdu.
• Strong presentation skills and the ability to explain medical information clearly to patients.
• Digitally confident and comfortable navigating electronic health systems.
• Comfortable being on camera and conducting consultations via telehealth platforms.
