Responsibilities
Conduct site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, etc.) to determine project feasibility.
Prepare engineering designs and ensure they meet project specifications and applicable codes.
Manage and oversee construction projects, including coordinating with contractors and other professionals.
Perform calculations and analysis for structural integrity, capacity, and stability.
Review and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
Develop project budgets and timelines; monitor and report on progress.
Conduct quality control and assurance to ensure construction meets design standards.
Evaluate and recommend materials and equipment for projects.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and advancements in civil engineering technology.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred
Strong knowledge of engineering principles, concepts, and practices
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant software programs
Excellent project management and communication skills
