Overall Responsibilities :
• To generate sales in the specialty accounts market within a designated territory, through events, education, prospecting and relationship building. Has complete responsibility for prospecting, profiling, and opening accounts within their market area.
• Fully ensures there’s follow-up on leads as well as taking ownership for developing account pipeline to foster new account openings.
• Reporting to Sales Manager.
• Achieve monthly sales goals given to you by the Sales Manager by executing promotional events, trainings, seminars, new account openings etc.
• Accept responsibility for goals and adjust strategy according to performance and achievement.
• Discuss sales goal achievement with store managers/buyers on a monthly basis, empower them to increase their business via events, promotional programs and scheduled appointments.
• Grow the number of qualified accounts within designated territory by prospecting and following up on leads generated thru corporate office.
• Meets monthly, quarterly and yearly new open goals, assist Sales Manager with new business initiatives.
• Plan and execute new product launches through sell in and sell through events etc.
• Check inventory, merchandise products and generate orders when visiting accounts. Alert management of any stock issues (out of stocks, expired products etc.).
• Contact all designated accounts monthly to assess needs and generate orders.
• Travels daily to visit accounts. The position requires attendance at sales meetings such as quarterly meetings and Group sales meetings.
• Participating in regional or national trade shows.
• Train specialty account employees on both products and the appropriate selling skills needed to achieve sales goals.
• Ensure that all accounts employees have the ability to both understand the technical aspects of all of products and simply explain it to their clients.
• Submit daily sales revenue and business development report.
• Submit weekly recap of business and prospects to Sales Manager.
• Submit weekly and monthly action plan to Sales Manager.
• Communicate with Sales Coordinator when applicable.
• Manage and adhere to all promotion and travel budgets as defined by the Sales Manager.
• Sales territory subject to change upon management decision.
