Role Summary

You will be the one responsible for the pricing and overall promotion of a product category to maximize consumer appeal. Relationships with vendors and product range management will also be part of your duties. To be the focal point for partners dedicated to the assigned sub-categories.

Job Responsibilities

Partnership Management

• To be the focal point for partners dedicated to the assigned sub-categories.
• Developing key supplier relationships for category development partnerships.
• Manage supplier income activity plan and tracker, from input from Country Sales / Partnership teams
• Raising POs and paying invoices where required.

Merchandise Management for Health & Beauty Categories

• Managing merchandise management for the Health & Beauty Category with a primary focus on maintaining strong product assortments, executing merchandise strategy, and developing of exclusive merchandise lines.
• Ensuring all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way in the health & beauty category.
• Developing strategies for products through analyzing sales and inventory.
• Recommending new products or services based on trends in the industry or client needs.
• Implementing strategies for products through analyzing sales and inventory performance including planning for high demand, underperforming or end-of-life merchandise.

Collaboration

• Working closely with Business & Marketing team to enhance promotional and product planning that compliment overarching campaign priorities, including driving effective marketing strategies for product lines across owned, earned channels.
• Advising staff and arrange the specialized design and update in the portal and expedite the business.
• Proactively seeking new opportunities, ideas, techniques, and materials to drive product innovation.
• Maintaining timelines with suppliers, track progress of development & manage product flow against key milestones.

Reporting

• Conducting research to identify new markets or consumer trends.
• Checking and updating the live products and improving the products.

· Analyzing data to identify problems and develop solutions.

• Accountability for daily, weekly, and monthly business performance monitoring and reporting.

Ensure teams are working to deliver against critical path timings

• Management of Category Critical Path, both for Range Reviews and Seasonal Events.
• Getting supplier samples sourced in time for range reviews / seasonal events.
• Collating all lines for seasonal events from Central and Country to allow reporting and evaluation of performance.
• Coordinate with Marketing to ensure creative execution arrives in a timely fashion.
• Driving and influencing Digital Marketing to support category directives and strategies.
• Purchasing materials, planning inventory and overseeing warehouse efficiency with coordination with the inventory team.
• To ensure business requirements, quality standards, and compliance policies are met across all products.

Site Experience

• Adding sale / new / other roundels to lines
• Ensuring taxonomy applied to lines is relevant
• Feeding into teams where site experience is not optimized
• Weekly site walks for nominated country

Qualification & Experience

• Proven experience in category assortment of Health & Beauty Categories.
• Proven experience in Partnership management.
• PC literate – MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
• Excellent Computer skills, with strong working knowledge of MS Excel.
• Strong creative, critical thinking, and intuitive problem-solving skills.
• Communication skills, clear and concise in both written and verbal communication.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
