JOB PURPOSE: Responsible for ensuring that all offshore aviation facilities comply with General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) certification conditions, standards and regulations by regular monitoring and liaison with all stakeholders.

Job Specific Accountabilities
· Provide technical advice and support in all aspects of the civil aviation regulations and compliance.
· Prepare analysis, statistics, charts, maintain records, and prepare reports and correspondence related to Aviation technical subjects.
· Coordinate and assist other client group companies as required in matters dealing with aviation in particular HSE, SOPs and technical operational issues.
· Controls and supervises the contracted provision of Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS) and ensure its implementation as per client Offshore procedure in coordination with client Medical division.
· Carry out offshore helidecks and heliports inspection and ensure proper closure of findings in coordination with sites.
· Establish and prepare Helideck inspection program for Rigs, Barges and carry out heliport inspection on annual basis for all offshore locations.
· Maintain records of all documents related to Helidecks/Heliports and present to internal/external (GCAA) auditors as and when required.
· Follow up with Air service providers (Abu Dhabi Aviation I Falcon Aviation Service), with maintenance and technical staff with regards to aircraft maintenance schedules, availability and reliability. · Coordinate with aviation staff on all technical and operational matters, in order to align with aviation SOPs. JOB DESCRIPTION · Responsible for Updating (Installation vessel limitation list) IVLL and all Rigs Barges movement to offshore and review the Anchor drawing Orientation and discuss it with operator to ensure the location is safe for Helicopter operations and is in compliance with GCAA regulations.
· Provide technical advice and support to new projects teams for ensuring that the new helideck is in compliance with GCAA regulations (CAAP 71)
· Provide advice and assist in making Business case for Aviation related technical subjects.
· Responsible for Audit of Air Service providers facilities and records and ensure compliance with GCAA rules and regulations.
· Monitor and follow up closure of aviation related Internal and external Audit findings in coordination with all stakeholders.
· Provide technical advice and any information required in formulating the scope of work for Helicopter and Fixed wing Contracts.
· Maintain a record of all technical issues on aircrafts of the Air service providers and monitor closely to assess any trends.
· Ensure the aerodrome manuals and other GCAA approved documents are correct, accurate and updated and submitted to GCAA for approval in a timely manner. Generic Accountabilities Supervision

· Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
· Implement approved Section / Department policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in order to support execution of the Section’s / Department work programs in line with Company and International standards. Performance Management

· Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.
