To meet the requirements set out in the Club Operations Manual and the Operating with Excellence Audit to ensure our clubs are the best both member facing and back of house.
To ensure you comply with all aspects of our processes from Finance and Member Services.
To ensure club is well maintained by utilizing maintenance systems.
Ensure the club standards are achieved through the Operating with Excellence Audit.
Maintain cleaning standards through weekly cleaning check list.
Ensure the GM Ways of Working routines are followed to ensure you are consistent with our processes.
Member Experience:
Liaise with all departments to support and maximize opportunities for net member movement. Maximize the tools provided by Fitness First including Let’s Get You Started, Active 8, GX timetable, My Zone, Freestyle marketing and member events.
Assist the Club General Manager to achieve targeted Member Survey Score which includes the key KPI’s of Club Overall Score, Net Promoter Score, Renewal Score and Contact Scores.
Ensuring Brand compliance through member experience as demonstrated in Mystery Shop, GX attendance, Member Experience and Fitness Scorecard.
Ensuring Brand compliance through implementation and management of the Member Journey.
To support and participate in local community events.
Actively drive the in club renewal process to ensure our members are kept in contact with regularly and are encouraged to stay, exercise and renew.
Live the Brand and promote the Core Values. Love what you do. Develop inter club challenges and participate in regular training courses.
To meet with members requesting to cancel in order to retain the member or assist in the transfer of the membership to someone else.
Own the Hey Manager process and contact members about their raised concerns/suggestions/complaints ensuring that members know that we care about them and the business.
Commercial Management:
Assist the Club General Manager with implementing business plans that will achieve total revenue and maximize controllable profits in the club.
Assist the Club General Manager in achieving the budgeted Net Member Movement monthly and yearly by delivering on New Member Sales and reducing Attrition.
Become involved in the strategic planning of the Club to achieve the set targets on Net Movement and Growth.
Monitor all membership revenue lines of budgeted POS revenue, including Admin Fee, Joining Fee, GYS, Pro rata and My Zone.
Monitor the Personal Training Model to deliver key secondary revenue for our business model, and make positive contributions through assisting with coaching sessions and business plans.
Develop an understanding membership yield and revenue yield.
Build relationships with the surrounding Businesses in the immediate area in order to potentially attract Corporate Members.
Educate and develop your HODs with regards to achieving the Club and Company requirements and achieving set budgets.
Prepare and present quarterly Financial Reviews on your performance and be able to justify current results as well as produce a Plan of Action and Focus Points for the next quarter.
