Role Description

Fifty Five Coffee is seeking an experienced Head Roaster to join our team and lead our roasting operation. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Muscat, where you’ll be responsible for roasting coffee to perfection, overseeing the roast team, and choosing the best coffee blends to use in our drinks. In addition, you’ll collaborate with our baristas to enhance our coffee offerings, train new hires, and help achieve overall company goals.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in roasting coffee, including hands-on roasting, blending, and cupping experience.
• Proficiency in using a variety of roasting equipment.
• A passion for coffee and a deep understanding of the coffee industry.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage a team and work with other departments.
• Willingness to learn and stay updated with the latest trends in the coffee industry.
• A degree in Food Science, Agriculture, Chemistry, or related field is preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible hours when needed.
