Job Description

The Electrical Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. The role includes supporting electrical works at project sites, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and assisting in testing and commissioning activities.

Key Responsibilities:
Install and maintain electrical systems, panels, cables, and equipment.
Perform cable laying, cable termination, and electrical connections.
Conduct troubleshooting and fault diagnosis for electrical systems.
Support testing and commissioning activities for electrical equipment.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and single-line diagrams.
Ensure all electrical works comply with safety regulations and project requirements.
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Coordinate with engineers and project teams during installation and maintenance activities.
Prepare basic reports and update maintenance records.
Support site inspections and surveys when required.

Requirements:
Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering or related field.
EWA Wireman Certificate
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in electrical installation or maintenance.
Knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and industrial safety standards.
Ability to read electrical drawings and technical doents.
Familiarity with electrical tools, testing devices, and troubleshooting methods.
Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:
Experience in telecom, substations, or industrial projects.
Knowledge of UPS systems, rectifiers, grounding systems, and fiber-related power systems.
Ability to work on-site and handle emergency maintenance activities.
