The lake cleaning operator will be responsible for operating the lake cleaning machines and will be working in the water for cascade cleaning, wall cleaning, grooves cleaning and surface cleaning as per the supervisor instruction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure that all the lake cleaning machines operates in accordance with manufacture instruction and site health and safety procedures. Coordinate with supervisor for reliving other operators for breaks. Ensure that all equipment is maintained in accordance with planned maintenance schedules. Ensure that all safety measures are in place prior to the work. Record keeping of daily run time in the start the shift and end shift. First call maintenance of equipment. Reporting to supervisor if any abnormalities in the work or environment.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Ability to operate boat and lake cleaning machine. Ability to diagnose faults and carry out minor repairs to machines, control box generators, boats, boat motors, pumps, tanks, and pipe work. Should be diligent, organized, and self-motivated. Capable of working outside and on water in harsh climatic conditions. While working within on overall plan they must also be flexible and adaptable to the changing requirements that come with working in a developing organization.
QUALIFICATION:
High school diploma or equivalent. Experienced in working with lake leaning operation, large swimming pool maintenance or similar kind of environment. Having a PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) Certification will be an added advantage. Good oral and written communications skills.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Willingness to work (Day or Night) outside normal working hours.
