Responsibilities:
• Assist in basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables preparing ingredients and assembling food items according to established recipes and instructions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations including countertops cutting boards and utensils by ensuring timely washing sanitizing and storage.
• Clean and sanitize dishes glassware utensils and other kitchen equipment both manually and using dishwashing equipment following established protocols.
• Managing the inventory of fruits and vegetables ensuring proper storage and rotation to maintain freshness.
• Monitoring the quality of produce and promptly identifying any spoilage or damage.
• Collaborating with the kitchen team to determine the optimal yield of fruits and vegetables for various dishes and preparations.

• Collect and dispose of trash recycling and food waste in designated containers ensuring compliance with waste management policies.
• Sweep mop and maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors dining areas and other assigned areas always ensuring a neat and tidy environment.
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment such as stovetops ovens grills and fryers by following established cleaning procedures and schedules.
• Assist in receiving and storing deliveries including verifying incoming supplies organizing stock and rotating food items to maintain freshness and proper inventory management.
• Adhere to all health safety and sanitation guidelines including proper handling of chemicals and cleaning agents to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and support them during peak periods ensuring smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
• Assist in basic food service tasks such as setting up tables refilling condiments and clearing tables when necessary.
• Communicate any equipment malfunction maintenance needs or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
• Participate in training sessions and continuous learning opportunities to enhance knowledge of food safety hygiene practices and kitchen operations.
