Job Description:
Must be capable of interpreting engineering drawings and have knowledge of industrial safety.
Knowledge & Qualification:
Educational qualifications: Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
Role & Responsibilities:
Must have more than 10 years’ experience in maintenance work in the Petrochemical, Petroleum Refining or
Power Generation industry, out of which 5 years shall be in a similar role.
b) Educational qualifications: Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
c) Must be capable of interpreting engineering drawings and have knowledge of industrial safety.
d) Can read, write and speak English language. (IELTS 6 Equivalent)
e) Capable of supervising and leading the team of technicians & helpers. Performing any administrative work,
such as but not limited to obtaining and renewing permit to work etc., submitting daily time sheets, input
required data for the Company computerised engineering administration systems.
f) Able to exert full disciplinary and trade control over the Contractor workforce.
g) Assisting technicians for troubleshooting.
h) Capable of organising the Works to be carried out and co-coordinating with Maintenance contractors and
QSGTL Area Technicians and Operations on all aspects of Works.
i) Must be able to report close out activities & capture work history in SAP-PM/CMMS.
j) Must be able to demonstrate Brazing skills or hold the valid certificate.
k) Must be become Site wide Permit Holder, Site Wide Permit Requestor, Permit Verifier-Low within 3months.
l) Must become Appointed Person within 3months.
m) Must have Qatar Light Vehicle Driving license or acquire in 3months.
