A Finance Manager is responsible to lead a team to plan, implement, coordinate & manage the various Financial functions for the assigned remit.
He/She is also responsible to ensure transparent communication to/from business divisions & deliver financial objectives.
The Finance Manager should review & report on business critical information & make country/countries & brand accounts.
Job Responsibilities
Review process & suggest / implement changes.
Ensure company operates in accordance to all local country law requirements & with international accounting standards.
Co-ordinate all financial activities within assigned country/countries & brand accounts.
Review, evaluate, & implement changes to policies & procedures & processes to benefit the Business.
Alert Operational, Brand & Finance Management to under- or over-performance.
Reach agreement with involved managers on overall strategy / immediate actions to return profitability/brand account to acceptable/planned performance.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations & requirements of applicable country commercial, customs & tax laws, & with international accounting standards. Monitor the Company’s accounting policies & procedures, & manage accounting processes & controls.
Coach, develop & mentor one’s own Financial team.
Lead & manage finance-initiated cross-functional business improvement processes to increase efficiency, add value & reduce cost.
Skills & Experience
Degree/MBA in Finance and Professional Accounting Qualification.
CA qualification a must
Minimum of 5 years experience in medium-to-large FMCG/Retail industries or enterprises operating in the Gulf
