Primary accountability for the day-to-day ME road network operations on a 24hr x 7 day per a week basis. This includes responsibility for the management & development of International road network operations.
The M. E. Road Network provides a comprehensive international road transport service to each of the GCC countries on a 24 hour, 365 day per year basis. This requires close co-operation with both the customs authorities and DHL entities in each of the respective countries, along with the management and development of multi-cultural reporting team.
Reports to the Road Network Manager, MENAT
There are two principal areas of problem solving:
1) Directing M. E. Road Network operational resources to network requirements, whilst providing optimal performance & efficiency within agreed financial targets, particularly for backhaul opportunities.
2) The establishment and implementation of clear operational Kip’s and the subsequent management to those targets in consideration of both DHL and subcontracted line haul.
Decision Making
Daily and weekly application of operational resources and requirements, in line with customer requirements and business and cost control measures.
Planning and Organization
Direct control and planning of current and new international and domestic road sectors, on a weekly and monthly basis to ensure resources meet scheduled & ad-hoq M. E. Road Network requirements.
The primary challenge is to provide 100% uplift capability in accordance with customer requirements whilst maintaining optimal transit time & cost performance across the M. E. Road Network.
