JOB OVERVIEW To provide admin support and effective coordination in planning of scheduling and activities in line with the Company policies and procedures.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Full day to day admin responsibility of AIMS for crew scheduling, crew records & crew route construction enabling the assignment Flying Spanners on Flights.
• The building and loading Building of the maintenance roster proactively so that the department can forecast manpower requirements.
• Constructing crew routes for pairing – this involves the review each flight on AIMs and assigning a crew position for all “ME” (maintenance engineers) (typically 3 days per month).
• Building the flying spanner roster. Each flight needs to be reviewed against the current roster dayshift & nightshift ensuring resources are in place.
• Ensure that Adequate B1 and B2 coverage is available for all departures & downtimes.
• Assist Line Managers with coordinating departures and fuelling figures.
• Flights assigned to flying spanners align with the company rest period policy to ensure maximum output of resources.
• Flights are assigned to ensure minimum overtime is incurred to support routine flights.
• Ensuring that maintenance days have adequate resources to ensure that work packs are completed in line with the MM / LMM requirements.
• Communication of all flight changes in timings and cancellations to the flying spanner engineer via personal messaging and AIMs notifications.
• Organize preparing luncheons, meetings and events as required including staff meetings, party and other events.
• Coordinates with Finance on expenses claims, per diem, invoices, and other finance related matters.
• Any other duties or projects as assigned by the Administration Support Manager.
• From time to time, vacation cover for the other technical department administrators.
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Higher Education Degree or equivalent.
• Must have fluent English communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills – Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook.
• The ability to produce simple reports.
• Commitment to delivering high quality services.
• Flexible.
