The strategic acquisition of talent is an important pillar of growth for Credit Suisse. Join us as a Strategic Recruiter and become a key business partner to the business in the identification and selection of strategic front office talent across the Wealth Management, Investment Banking and Asset Management divisions. You will work in close collaboration with senior business leaders as well as other internal collaborators (e.g. HR business partners, compensation etc.) in developing and completing the Strategic Hiring Plan aligned to the business growth strategy of Credit Suisse in Qatar.
As a Strategic Recruiter you will be required to build intelligence of external talent pools based on research, proactively cultivate relationships with prospective senior and emerging senior candidates and be able to position the unique value proposition of Credit Suisse in the external market i.e. brand, strategy, capabilities etc. As an expert in the Qatar market, you will need to understand the changing competitor landscape and identify short-term and longer term hiring opportunities. In addition, you will be required to build candidate research from multiple channels and systematically – leverage internal and external networks to source candidates directly thereby reducing the need to work with external third parties e.g. head-hunters. As well as maintaining pipeline reports of passive and active candidates, your role will be to advise on innovative sourcing and hiring strategies including the identification of diverse candidates aligned to the D&I strategy of the Bank.
Strategic Recruitment is a global-team with a presence in Zurich, Geneva, London, Dubai, Hong Kong, and Singapore. You can play a key role in this small but impactful entrepreneurial team and have the opportunity to collaborate with diverse colleagues from within the Strategic Recruitment team as well as within the wider HR function and across business divisions.
A candidate with proven experience working as either a head-hunter or a commercially orientated Recruiter who has the skill-set to adapt to the direct sourcing model of Strategic Recruitment.
Solid knowledge and understanding of the Financial services and banking industry, across Wealth Management and/or Investment Banking and/or Asset Management
Outstanding client and relationship management skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to present confidently to all levels of management
A “can-do” attitude with strong “sales” conviction and the ability to prospect, influence and negotiate at all levels
A systematic and organized approach to work with the ability to juggle conflicting priorities and deliver high quality work with excellent levels of accuracy and attention to detail
A team-player with strong partnership and collaboration skills and the ability to work across locations and markets with a diverse global-team
Evidence of being able to evaluate, design and recommend recruitment strategies and assess candidates
Proficient in English; Arabic would be welcomed but not essential
