What will the role entail?
Manage projects from initial briefing through to completion.
Managing the concepts and detail with input from Design Directors.
Liaison with clients/developers, hotel/F&B operators & professional design teams.
Review of architectural layouts/designs to provide operational F&B feedback.
Negotiations with design team to ensure optimal space layout and logistics.
Presentation of designs at all stages of the design process.
Attendance at design meetings/coordination workshops.
Management of internal allocated design team resources.
Quality Assurance on all outgoing deliverables to ensure excellence.
Ensuring deliverables are issued in a timely and professional manner
Required experience for the role:
Minimum of 8 years’ experience within the hospitality industry. Ideally with a strong F&B background.
Proven experience in managing large scale hospitality projects.
Experience of delivering work stages with external teams to produce a coordinated and coherent design.
Demonstrable experience of managing internal resources by encouraging and inspiring them to produce their best work using their experience, resources, and talents in the most effective way.
Demonstrable experience of using your commercial, contractual, programme and technical expertise.
Experience of dealing with high profile senior clients/owners and hotel/F&B operators.
Established knowledge of current GCC standards, code of practice and Health & Safety risks relevant to the design of F&B projects would be ideal but not essential.
Demonstrable experience of delivering projects to the highest quality and on programme.
Proven ability to manage multiple Clients accounts, including the commercial arrangements and fostering future relationships.
Knowledge in various Common Data Environments (CDE) i.e., BIM 360, Aconex, SharePoint
Proven ability to work under pressure to demanding deadlines.
Fluent in English
Knowledge of current trends and developments in the hospitality market.
