Job Description As a Reservation Agent, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and delightful booking experience for our guests. Your primary responsibility will be handling reservations and inquiries efficiently and effectively. You will work closely with our sales and front office teams to maximize occupancy and revenue.
Handle inbound reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms.
Assist guests in selecting the most suitable accommodations and packages.
Ensure accurate input of reservation data into the booking system.
Confirm reservations and provide guests with booking details and confirmations.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
Resolve reservation-related issues or discrepancies effectively.
Promote additional services, packages, and upsell opportunities to enhance guests’ experiences.
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to maximize revenue through targeted promotions and discounts.
Monitor room availability and optimize occupancy rates.
Coordinate with housekeeping and front office to ensure timely room turnovers.
Maintain accurate and organized reservation records, guest profiles, and correspondence.
Prepare daily and weekly reservation reports for management.
Communicate effectively with guests before and after their stay, ensuring they have all the information they need.
Collect feedback and reviews to improve guest satisfaction.
01 – 02 years of experience in reservations or a similar role in the hospitality industry is preferred.
Strong communication skills and a customer-centric attitude.
Proficiency in reservation software and MS Office applications.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Knowledge of the local area and attractions is a plus.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in hospitality or relevant field will be a plus.
