Responsibilities:
1. Operates, starts, stops, checks & adjusts all site equipment in assigned LNGI / jetty facilities according to standard operating procedures & instructions of the supervisor. Updates himself with the latest operating procedures and work practices and instructions.
2. Collects operating data, records it on log sheets and does assigned calculations on worksheets.
3. Checks unit log sheets at shift start and updates with latest unit conditions. Ensures that all irregularities are registered
4. Reports defects/abnormal conditions. Shuts down equipment on own initiative during emergency if he deems it necessary.
5. Takes samples as required. Takes dips & ullages of all tanks in the assigned area and drains water from tanks.
6. Performs emergency generator testing, changeover and operation of spared equipment (pumps etc), lube oil checks, topping up, etc.
7. Isolates lines/equipment for maintenance work and ensures that equipment is free of oil / gas and is safe to work on. Checks equipment after maintenance work.
8. Carries out non-routine activities such as, punch-listing.
9. Performs other related duties, as assigned.
Qualification & Requirements:
> Diploma or Bachelors degree in Engineering with minimum 5 years of similar experience in Oil & Gas or petrochemicals industry.
> Must have 2 years experience or equivalent years’ experience in a similar LNGI /LPG/cryogenic Ammonia/ cryogenic Ethylene jetty role as a Field Operator.
> Ready to relocate.
