A Confidential Government based in Riyadh is looking for (Senior Information Technology Auditor).
Senior Information Technology Auditor are responsible for continuously inspecting and assessing the various elements of their company’s information system to develop and implement audit test plans. They find the best practices to complete audit requirements quickly and efficiently. They collaborate with audit managers to determine the best solution for each part of the system. Finally, they ensure that all preexisting audit requests are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
Examine internal IT controls, evaluate the design and operational effectiveness, determine exposure to risk, and develop remediation strategies.
Troubleshoot security and network problems.
Respond to all system and network security breaches.
Plan, implement, monitor, and upgrade security measures for the protection of the organization’s data, systems, and networks.
Participate in the change management process.
Test and identify network and system vulnerabilities, and create counteractive strategies to protect the network.
Conduct efficient and effective IT audit procedures.
Communicate complex technical issues in simplified terms to the relevant staff.
Perform regular audit testing and provide recommendations.
Review, evaluate, and test application controls.
Provide recommendations and guidance on identified security and control risks.
Develop a strong understanding of business and system processes.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Information Security, Cybersecurity or similar IT Audit certification
Professional Certification: CISA, CISSP or other IT certification
Master’s Degree preferred
Minimum of 5 years of IT audit experience
Government Entity or Consultancy Firm related experience would be an advantage
