Plan, Perform and control the logistics operation activities of the Project/Organization. Liable for record keeping, inventory control, transportation, movement of equipment and stores, and disbursements of materials.
Ability to undertake large procurement of commodities and services.
Demonstrable organizational and prioritization skills with experience of establishing personal deadlines.
Ability to understand and compare procurement (quotes, pricing) data.
Excellent communication skills, with experience of communicating cross-culturally.
Ensuring the organization’s safety policies are followed
A track record of delivery within a construction management or logistics function (over the past 3 years)
A driver of performance improvement.
IT skills (e.g., Powerpoint, Visio, Word, Excel)
Manage suppliers: scaffolding, temporary electrics, plumbing, welfare, and office accommodation.
Ensure to develop logistics along with support plans, budget requirements and organization timelines for new operations.
Ensure to create a secure site
Ensure to be responsible for all traffic management internally and externally, weighbridges and road network cleanliness.
Ensure to manage installation of site accommodation and manage these facilities
Ensure to create operational procedures and method statements
Ensure to organize site inductions; ensure induction records are securely stored.
Ensure to create a schedule of logistics meetings and ensure logistics is represented at site meetings.
Skills
Minimum six (6) years’ Experience working in a procurement or logistics role, two (2) years of which must be in GCC.
College level preferably in Business Administration or equivalent
