The General Manager is responsible for overseeing and providing day to day direction in all aspects of management of the club facilities, including Fitness operations, Sales and Marketing, customer service and retention, food and beverage, accounting/budgeting and human resources. The General Manager will manage and continuously develop all aspects of the club’s business, and in conjunction with the Management Committee, have a clear vision for the club’s strategic direction. The General manager will have responsibility for all staff.
Manages all aspects of the club including its activities and the relationships between the club and MTM Group Management, members, guests, employees, community, government and industry. Coordinates and administers the club’s policies as defined by the company. Develops operating policies and procedures and directs the work of all Supervisors and staff.
Implements and monitors the budget, monitors the quality of the club’s products and services, and ensures maximum member and guest satisfaction. Secures and protects the club’s assets, including facilities and equipment.
Education:
Degree or equivalent business qualification
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
8-9 Years with a minimum of 4 years in a managerial role.
Excellent Interpersonal Skills, Exceptional communication skills, Leadership and Motivational skills
Knowledge and interest in gym facilities and exercise courses. Enhanced understanding of gym equipment’s, and its proper usage. Results Orientated, Decisive, Well-developed interpersonal skills, able to negotiate and persuade people both internally and externally
