Position Title:       Commi 1 / Commis Chef

Salary:              up to 2.8K AED all-inclusive depending on experience and qualifications plus duty meal and tips

International high-end restaurant and café and premium retail gourmet food boutique.

Job Description: 

 Prepares and cooks food and prepare ingredients as per requisitions, according to the SLA, recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist

 Completes all required checklists for each shift and makes daily production lists for his/her section in absence of the Chef de Partie

 Operates kitchen equipment and tools, ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.

 Participates in food preparations for catering, special events or lunch/ dinner services as required.

 Minimizes spoilage, waste, proper storage and exercising strict portion control as per operating procedure

Qualifications: 

 35 years old and below

 Must be at least a high school graduate

 At least 2 years’ experience in the hospitality industry handling the same role

 Immediate joiners will be prioritized
