We are seeking a talented Backend (PHP) Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining high-quality web applications and services using PHP and associated technologies. Your collaboration with developers, designers, and product owners will be key to ensuring our products align with customer needs and are delivered on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust web applications utilizing PHP and related technologies.
• Produce clean, well-structured, and efficient code.
• Work closely with other developers and product owners to ensure product alignment with customer requirements.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues efficiently.
• Conduct testing and deployment of applications and systems.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in web development.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in PHP web development.
• Proficient in PHP and frameworks such as Laravel or CakePHP.
• Skilled in front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experienced with database technologies such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Knowledgeable in DevOps practices, including CI/CD and automation.
• Familiar with version control systems like Git.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Capable of working both independently and within a team environment.
• Detail-oriented and adept at working under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud services such as AWS.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
