We are currently building a new team that will be responsible for FX Risk platform. The team will be implementing new business-driven functionality, technical and regulatory-driven changes, QA Automation and DevOps. There is a set of old and new platforms that serve the Client’s FX business in 38 countries by providing the ability for real-time derivatives pricing, risk management and data analytics. New initiative is starting to replace a set of the existing risk applications with new generation ones with web-based UI, server side computing and grid technology, distributed in-memory solutions. The new application is going to serve traders, sales and external clients. Solution needs to be scalable to cover multiple locations and meet latency requirements.

As we are setting up CD process, major part of our tests will be automated. We already started to develop our internal testing framework (Harness) which allows us to run really flexible scenarios and compare a big amount of data. Harness will also help analyze tests results, prepare need reports for business and create all need release artifacts. We are looking for Senior Automation QA who will join Harness team and will work in tests automation. Candidate will be working closely with developers, related applications and analytics team

Responsibilities:

• Design and automate tests in Java/Python
• Take active part in designing architecture and business flows for new platform
• Understand FX pricing business logic, front-to-back flows and architecture
• Collaborate with a globally distributed team of developers, business analysts, quality assurance and support professionals
• Quantify and track test coverage

Mandatory skills:

• Understanding Basic Data Structures and Algorithms
• Core Java (JVM,GC,JMM)
• Solid understanding of application lifecycle
• Have strong knowledge of test automation methodologies and experience of implementing test automation best practices
• Knowledge of Linux
• Knowledge of SQL
• At least intermediate English

Nice-to-Have skills:

• Understanding of FX pricing business logic
• Python
• Experience in performance testing
• Experience with CI/CD
• Experience of working with document-oriented databases

Qualifications:

• 5-8 years Testing Analyst experience
• Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and how Quality Assurance methodology fits into the SDLC Knowledge of relevant operating systems, languages and database tools Knowledge of defect tracking systems and processes; including change management Knowledge of automated regression testing tools. Experience of testing trading platforms or similar software. Ability to work under pressure during tight dead lines
• Requires methodical approach to testing and problem solving. Requires theoretical and analytical skills, with demonstrated ability in planning and operations
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a proactive attitude, always seeking opportunities to add value
• Specific software languages will be dependent of area of business
