Job purpose

Christian Dior Couture Middle East is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to support the Controlling team for a period of 6 months starting from July. He/She will manage, within the assigned scope, all finance and accounting operations, prepare and submit timely and accurate monthly financial statements with the relevant analysis.

Main Responsibilities

• Deliver timely and accurate monthly financial statements in compliance with standard accounting rules (IFRS/Group)
• Provide local Management and Headquarter with financial analysis and comments clarifying any variance with validated budgets

• Review of gross margin and stock equation, ensuring that any potential issue is timely addressed
• Cost Controlling review and proactive recommendations on overspend risks
• Provide complete, accurate and consistent financial analysis as needed and required by local Management / Headquarter
• Identify and monitor any potential business risk and deliver recommendations
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Ensure correct and timely completion of Group Management reporting

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration

  
  Preferred Skills and Experience
  

  • 5+ years of controlling experience; previous experience as a Financial Controller in manufacturing or retail industry is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  • Extensive experience in cost controlling
  • Knowledge of stock margins and inventory depreciation
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, strong analytical skills
  • Excellent time management, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Hands on, agile, proactive, problem solver and thrive working in a high profile and dynamic business
  • Strong team player and leader, efficient with self-assurance and the ability to complete work skilfully with little to no direct supervision
  • Good communication skills to collaborate and coordinate with key stakeholders
  • Ability with computer tools (financial reporting tools)
  • Fluent in English
