Acts as BDPM or TPM liaison with Commercial and Sales team during the project tender phases;
Directs and Manages O&G and Industrial related Feasibility Studies, Pre-FEED, FEED OR Detailed Design projects from projects from inception up to project completion. Being the project focal point to the Client;
Responsible to manage Project Scope, Contract, Budget and Cash Flow, Resources, Schedule, Quality of the deliverables, and Stakeholders;
Plan and schedule workload and resources in-line with the project schedule;
Organize Project meetings (internal and external) and review workshops;
Effectively communicate Project expectations and Client requirements to team members;
Supervise Weekly and Monthly progress reporting;
Project monitoring and control with the support of project services team;
Ensure interfaces between all disciplines are incorporated where required, to achieve project objectives;
Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC procedures, performance standards and specifications;
Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path;
Evaluate, organize and prioritize workload within a schedule;
Issue status reports to the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot areas of concern;
Identify potential risks and devise contingency and mitigation plans;
Proactively manage changes in project scope and perform claim management;
Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle;
Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and subcontractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability during project implementation;
Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management;
Able to demonstrate sufficient technical knowledge and awareness of details to be able to recognize identification of technical problems and to initiate appropriate corrective actions;
Build and develop business relationships vital to project success;
Conduct project “lessons learned” meetings;
Manage proposals in-line with Tender requirements;
Attends all the company-organized training courses when invited;
Development of Company-UAE capability by assisting in the training of staff;
Be aware of and obey the Company Health, Safety and Environmental, and Quality rules & perform the activities as per IMS.
What you need to bring:
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Process, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation and Control or Industrial Engineering from a recognized University. PMP certification preferred;
10-12 years, preferably in Engineering and Consulting roles;
Minimum 6 years’ experience in PM role and 5-6 years of experience as Project Engineer, or Engineering Coordinator in OG&I related Projects with involvement in the development of with FEED and detailed design experience;
Systematic, methodological and able to work well under pressure;
Meticulous and able to follow through with tasks promptly;
Able to work independently as well as in a team;
High awareness of safe working practices associated with the design, construction, pre-commissioning, installation and offshore hook-up and commissioning of large-scale Oil and Gas facilities;
Travels in UAE or abroad may typically be required for short assignments and/or meetings attendance and/or site visits etc;
Ability to work with different engineering disciplines in a multi-cultural environment;
