Strong understanding of different types of rigging equipment’s, including Crawler crane, Mobile Crane, Tower Crane, Forklifts, hoists, slings and chains;
Coordinate planned lifts with rigging teams, crane operators, and piping crews;
Strong knowledge of crane operation, rigging, and planned lifts;
Ability to lead small teams;
Assign job duties of the crew and ensure that each employee is properly trained;
Being a safety role model for the team;
Enforcing OPD and client specific safety policies and procedures on the jobsite;
Anticipate and recognize potential safety and environmental concerns and report them to the OPD Superintendent;
Providing records of work completed to the OPD superintendent;
Communicate planned lifts with OPD Superintendent as required;
Oversee maintenance of all rigging equipment and cranes.
What you need to bring:
Should have good communication skills, both verbal and written;
Offshore experience;
At least 2 years of experience supervising crane and rigging operations;
Must be able to read, write and communicate in English;
Must follow company safety procedures and industry known best work practices;
