Job Description

A lovely family based in Qatar seek a friendly, energetic, and compassionate nanny for their almost one year old son. Expect to work 6 days per week for 10 or so hours per day.

This is a lead nanny position, so your responsibilities will very much be focused on supporting the boy’s growth and development, encouraging imaginative play, and introducing fun and engaging games, encouraging his curiosity and empathy, and ensuring that he meets age appropriate milestones. The family enjoy spending time outdoors when possible, so an adventurous, sporty, fun personality is essential and you must be a confident swimmer.

The ideal candidate is dedicated, reliable, trustworthy and has relevant qualifications. The family travel frequently, so candidates should be comfortable with regular international trips and must be flexible enough to accommodate for changing environments, routines, and demands. The home is fully staffed and there is a wonderful team in place that support the family – the position will therefore suit someone who can fit into the current dynamic and who has a ‘pitch-in’ attitude. Fluency in English is essential, a driver would be helpful (but isn’t absolutely necessary), and some knowledge of and experience with allergies would be a bonus. The family will arrange visas, will provide medical insurance, and offer a generous salary for the right candidate.
