Block Gemini is seeking to hire a young professional to work in the Financial Planning and Analysis team. In this role you will create reports and presentations that translate data into meaningful information to facilitate tactical and strategic decision-making. Candidate will be responsible for report preparation and maintenance, performance of standard and ad-hoc reporting processes, consolidation of financial and non-financial data.
Responsibilities:
Perform data entry, verification, and back-up; and maintain database on monthly basis
Extracts information from various systems for reporting or analysis purposes and customizes report presentation for the purpose of producing required output and customization.
Performs ad-hoc reporting functions with intellectual curiosity, technical prowess and diligence
Coordinates collection and compilation of data.
Maintains master reports in order and keeps structure up-to-date.
Prepares monthly standard and custom reports for submission to local management.
Ad-hoc analysis.
Actively participates in Quarterly Budget Reviews, Budgets and Forecasts.
Compiles the Data and provides assistance to Financial Reporting Manager for finalization
Analyze causes of variance using accounting entries.
Frequently interact and coordinate with other departments to address business issues and to meet organizational objectives.
Monthly payroll processing and thorough understand of final settlement calculations in compliance with UAE laws.
Required Skills/Knowledge:
2-3 years of work experience in the finance domain.
Degree in finance or accounting required.
Strong knowledge of Excel including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs and formulas.
Ability to work through shifting priorities and deadlines.
Strong technical skills and high IT literacy.
Ability or strong foundation in problem-solving.
Prior experience working on payroll.
Good command over the English language.
