Main accountabilities Develop and execute the strategic business plan for South Africa operations and achieve the best outcomes and results. Spearhead continuous improvement philosophy within the organization. Benchmark best practices and drive initiatives internally. Manage and develop strong relationships with various stake holders-internal & external. Improve efficiency in every function of the site including, production, maintenance, purchase, supply chain, HSE, logistics, Administration. Deliver the client’s products in accordance with global quality, in time and in a cost-efficient way. Allocate budget resources, manage operational cost, monitor financial activities, must have P&L experience. Communicate in manner that creates collaboration, coordination and teamwork and ensures the mutual sharing of ideas and information. Formulating an operating plan based on projected sales and output and analyzing the variances periodically at reviews at HQ. Identify business opportunities, drive sales, improve revenue and generate new business. Safeguard the BFG International Group culture. Ensure that collaboration, teamwork and BFG’s core values are fostered and enhanced in the team in South Africa and with colleagues globally. Ensure the engagement of the employees through the assess/implementation of all actions set by the Group.
