BankIslami Pakistan Limited Hiring for Assistant Manager Linux Administration at Karāchi, Sindh, Pakistan Full Time

Job Role:

Experience working with various Linux distributions such as Debian, Red Hat, CentOS, and SUSE

Administration of Zimbra mail servers, DHCP, BIND, LDAP, NTP, and Linux terminal servers

Thorough understanding of NFS, Samba file share, iSCSI, and LVM partitioning

Analyze system logs, identify potential issues, and perform routine maintenance

Document, install, configure, upgrade and maintain operating systems, software & services

Maintain system life cycle, service resiliency, and system security

Must posses excellent troubleshooting skills & IT Infrastructure knowledge

Automate administration tasks through bash scripts or Ansible and implement desired system state

Support and troubleshoot the existing Linux environment and ensure compliance with globally recognized security standards & system hardening

Manage web servers, reverse proxies, SSL certificates, and print servers

Familiarity with Virtualization Technologies such as VMware or HyperV and SAN storage management

Eligibility Criteria:

Minimum Bachelors in relevant field. Masters preferred 

More than 5 years of relevant system administration experience

Technical certification RHCSA, LFCS or LPIC-2 will be preferred.
