Bahrain Airport Services Hiring for Instructor at Muharraq Governorate, Bahrain Full Time

Main Objectives

Coordinates and conducts all types of general and compliance training for the company’s staff on the specialized subjects. Ensures that training material is appropriate to the current aviation needs and ensures its compliance with the regulatory authorities’ requirements. Liaises with certain individuals in each department to identify if there are any training needs/gaps. Develops training programs for the company’s employees and external customers.

Main Duties

• To conduct training on a range of subjects specific to airport operations.
• To produce and amend training materials as and when required by governing bodies or departments.
• To produce and correct examinations for subject expert courses.
• Carry out On Job Training as required.
• To evaluate the levels of training requirements set by the company and the regulatory authorities.
• To ensure that initial and recurrent training is appropriate, up-to-date and suitable and for it to be focused to the specific needs of each department.
• To liaise with other departments regarding special training needs.
• To maintain accurate records/files on staff training in all departments and to arrange refresher training when due and where necessary.
• To develop training programs and to recommend improvements in training standards when necessary.
• To identify the strengths and weaknesses of employees/trainees’ performances by conducting TNA.
• To recommend further training when necessary.
• To comply with the Company and Airport authorities’ health, safety, and security regulations.

Minimum Requirements

• Completion of secondary school (12 years) followed by relevant training in any specialized field.
• IATA, ICAO certificates.
• Completion of Train the Trainer course is an advantage.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in the same specialized field.
• A working knowledge of airline and airport procedures is required.
• Good command of English language (both verbal and written) is required.
• Proven ability to write concise and accurate training procedures and programs is required.
• Computer literacy in Windows & Microsoft Office applications is essential.
