JOB PURPOSE

BAE Systems is the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force aircraft and train RSAF personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

To carry out avionic maintenance, repairs and system testing on Tornado aircraft.

May be required to provide support to the RSAF away from TMSC.

RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION

• Performs major and minor avionic repairs, modifications and TCTOs on Tornado aircraft.
• Is responsible for the quality and completeness of the work he carries out, or signs for as having been carried out, on an aircraft or aircraft component.
• Works within the requirements of the TMSC Quality System and RSAF Technical Orders.
• Completes TMSC forms, appropriate aircraft forms, records and maintenance documentation.
• Ensures maximum effort is made to safeguard the programme timescales in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner.
• Provides on-the-job and theory training.
• Deputises, if required, for the supervisor.
