Job Summary
ACK is seeking experienced and highly motivated candidate to join its growing team in the Student Support Center as a Learning Disabilities Manager.
The Learning disabilities Manager strives to provide ACK students with the support, guidance, and mentoring necessary to maximize their academic and personal growth and development. The incumbent should use all available means and resources to maintain conditions that are conductive to students’ academic progress and resilience, strong character building, and their overall wellbeing. The successful candidate should provide the utmost level of confidentiality, engagement and support for all ACK students, especially first year students, and students with special needs and shall be actively involved in restructuring ACK curriculum to meet their special needs.
Required Skills
A doctorate degree in Learning disabilities or a related field of study.
Previous experience in clinical psychology or assessment of LDs.
Advanced IT skills.
English and Arabic Language proficiency.
Previous experience in a student setting.
Highly developed organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work under pressure, unsupervised, and as a member of a team.
Professional Appearance.
Previous experience in conducting psycho-educational evaluations is preferred.
Previous experience in the instruction and teaching of students with special needs.
