Apt Resources is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Engineering to join our client’s team. As Head of Engineering, you will take on a lead role in managing fit-out projects for office towers and shopping malls. You will oversee all engineering aspects of these projects, ensuring the highest quality standards, adherence to deadlines, and client satisfaction. You will work closely with designers, architects, and construction teams to ensure smooth coordination and successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all engineering aspects of fit-out projects for office towers and shopping malls
• Coordinate and collaborate with designers, architects, and construction teams to ensure smooth project execution
• Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets
• Oversee the procurement of necessary materials and equipment for each project
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and building codes
• Monitor and evaluate project progress and performance to identify areas for improvement
• Provide technical expertise and support to project teams
• Manage and lead a team of engineers and technical staff

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably in mechanical engineering)
• Minimum 3-5 yrs Experience in managing fit-out projects for office towers or shopping malls (representing the landlord, not the tenant)
• Experience in facility management for office towers or shopping mall
• Good Knowledge of building materials, Finishes, and techniques
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written). Arabic speakers will be an advantage
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles and project management techniques
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to effectively manage and motivate a team
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and building codes
• Preferably have Qatar Experience
• Preferably in Qatar
